TCS "SMART CITIZENS FOR A SMART CITY" WORKSHOP

TCS has shared a vision of India becoming the Smartest Nation by 2040. One of the levers for achieving this vision will be for India to lead in innovation for both social and economic betterment. In line with this vision, TCS will soon be setting up an impact innovation center at Nashik, India  focused on Enhancing Lives of citizens. The platform will provide an opportunity for talent from across the country to solve pressing challenges in the following seven social themes:
1. Health & Hygiene
2. Education & Skills
3. Financial & Personal Security
4. Energy, Water & Environment
5. Food & Agriculture
6. Housing & Transportation
7. Citizen Empowerment & Transparency.

In the process, the platform  fosters a culture of innovation through series of sustained innovation cycles, provide an opportunity to bring research and technology from academia and industry to life, and accelerate the journey of many from being an ideator to an entrepreneur. Each innovation will result in a Digital Interface to Physical System (DIPS) and use multiple technologies including IoT, Machine Learning, Cloud Analytics, Mobility, Social and Human Centric Design.

This would be a fantastic opportunity, especially for students, early startups, innovators, entrepreneurs of your incubation cell to work post the workshop at the Impact Innovation Center and develop solutions to address real world challenges over 6 to 12m period.
