ONGC SUMMER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

ONGC, Mehsana Asset is the highest onshore producing asset of ONGC and has been proving its excellence by winning Best Onshore Asset award continuously for the last three years. Every year we receive requests from several top institutes seeking Summer Training opportunities for their students who are required to undergo such training as a part of their curriculum in the below mentioned disciplines:

[1] BTech (CH, CS, CV, EC, EE, IT, ME)

[2] Mass Communication

[3] MBA (HR/Finance/Marketing)

[4] MCA

[5] Micro Biology

[6] MSc (Chemistry)

[7] MA (Social Works)

All the students who are interested to undergo the aforesaid training at ONGC, Mehsana Asset are requested to apply latest by March 31, 2016 in the format attached (Annexure A) along with the following supporting documents:

[1] Copy of all the semester mark sheets

[2] Copy of 10^th, Diploma / 12th Standard Mark Sheet

[3] Copy of Industrial Training Request / Sponsorship Letter from the Institute/College/University

[4] Copy of Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidate

Hard copy of duly Filled Annexure A and above documents must be submitted to the Placement Office, 3rd Floor, MIT Central Library Building, MIT Manipal by 5 PM, March 31, 2016

Applications without any/all of the supporting documents or incomplete applications will be rejected without giving any intimation to the student.

The tentative date for commencement of Summer Training is 15th May, 2016 and all the shortlisted students will be divided into different batches as per the training duration in accordance with their curriculum requirement. The last date for training completion of all batches will be on or before 31st August, 2016.

  

The training will be extended to the students on following pre-conditions:

[1] No stipend or other expenditure will be paid by ONGC for the Training.

[2] Individual(s) will have to make his/her/their own arrangements for boarding, lodging, conveyance etc.

[3] ONGC will have no liability for his/her/their employment.

[4] In case of unruly behavior or indiscipline, his/her/their project work will be terminated without notice, no liability or any damages etc.

[5] Trainee(s) will undergo training at their own risk and cost.

The list of shortlisted candidates will be placed on the notice board/communicated to respective colleges/candidates by 10th May, 2016. Selection of candidate for the training is sole discretion of management and mere application does not create a right of the applicant to undergo training at ONGC, Mehsana Asset.

Trainee(s) would have to submit a copy of Project Report at the culmination of the training to ONGC and no training completion certificate will be issued by ONGC in case of non-submission of the Project Report.
