RESEARCH INTERNSHIP AT ASPIRING MINDS


Aspiring Minds is offering summer Research Intern with a 25K monthly stipend respectively and the period of summer internship is June 2016 - July 2016.
Research engineers form the backbone of Aspiring Minds and hence we are looking for only the best minds of the country to fill these positions.
The selection process would be as follows-

Step 1: A registration link would be shared with all eligible candidates. The candidates will have to enter the requested information and upload their resumes.

Step 2: A very thorough and comprehensive resume-shortlisting would be done personally by the senior-most members of our research team in which various parameters would be taken into consideration - from projects to internships to publications to performance in national/international competitions etc.

Step 3: The shortlisted candidates would then be provided user name passwords for an automated programming test. They can take this test as per their own choice of time and place. They will require a laptop with a web cam and an internet connection.

Step 4: Telephonic interviews.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification - B.E./B.Tech
• Batch year - 2016 (permanent hire), 2017, 2018 2019 (interns)
• Specialization: CC, CS, IT
• 10th and 12th scores - 70% and above
• GPA - 6.5 and above

Research Intern
The individual will work as a part of the research group at Aspiring Minds in developing solutions to real-world problems using state of the art machine learning techniques, computer science concepts and statistical assessments. As a part of this team, you will understand the kind of problems we are interested in, translate them into computer science problems, understand the state of the art in related areas in academia and industry and cross-apply multiple research findings to develop new products or enhance our current products. Additionally, we are also interested in deriving insights from the million assessments we have already performed through our assessment products. On a typical day, you might be spending your time reading a paper, brainstorming ideas with colleagues, coding a new algorithm (we enjoy this the most!), analyzing results or just plain thinking (with a capital T)!

What are we looking for: Strong computer science concepts with great programming skills. Exposure to machine learning is a plus. If you are applying for internship, do mention your projects/ coding experience on online judges/ coding-competitions etc.
